In short, this is a separate photoshoot with a theme, done mostly for fun and to make your memories more colourful. The themes we have done in the past were zombies, movies, vintage, Egipt, China, Scotland, mountains, forest, racing, sailing, nature, folk and many more. The theme can be whatever you like as long as we can somehow get the props and a fitting location!
For example, if you love sailing and have a boat, we can shoot on a boat, if you love animals, it could be a farm and if you love movies, we can recreate your favourite scene(s). It is A LOT of fun ๐
What we can offer you is our passion for photography which extends much deeper than any other photographer. We collect vintage cameras and lenses, which is you'd like can be used to achieve absolutely one of a kind photographs. It is truly impossible to recreate what one can get with a camera or a lens from the 40s or 50s. The imperfections of the old lenses make them perfect for unforgettable photographs. You must know that photography with vintage equipment requires more time than digital photography and it has to be prepared in advance. We photograph weddings all over the UK and Europe. One weekend we will be in Wales, the next in London, then somewhere in Spain. We will go anywhere, but we are based in Wadhurst, East Sussex. So far we've been to Iceland, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Scotland, Wales, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy and Grece.
As long as the wedding and all it's subsequent parts are in a reasonable distance (up to 1h drive), we will never charge you for fuel or other transport.
There is no hard limit on number pf photos. Normally we end-up with anything between 800 and 1200 depending on number of guests, length of the party. We understand that these photos are your memories and donโt see any reason why in this digital age, over a dayโs shoot you canโt receive a LOT of photographs that are also high in quality.
Regardless of the option/tier you pick, you will receive all usable photos with the only limit being the number of usable photos.
Depending on what you pick from the Tier list you will have a choice of printed photos, albums, memory sticks and online galleries. Regardless of the tier, you will always receive your photos via cloud storage and in an online gallery which you can share and download from at aby time you like. There is absolutely no reason to pick just one solution, you can go with all if you like. We are flexible and if there is a kind of media you'd like your photos on and we are able to copy it over, we are happy to do it for you.

We believe that the wedding ends when you say so. While in most cases we are asked to stay until around 9pm (from early afternoon), it is absolutely not a rule at all. As long as you can feed us, we are happy to stay for as long as you like. What we do ask for though is that you specify well in advance how you'd like us to stay for so we can prepare enough batteries and memory for the cameras.
There is one very big misconception that most people have about our work and it's that we only work on the day of the wedding, while the reality is that it takes several days to go through all the photos, edit them, crop, correct and make perfect. We also work on your online gallery, your album and prints. In best case scenario it is a minimum of a week of constant work to do all this. We do all this to make sure you are very happy with your memories.
Of course there is a contract, which you can have a read through whenever you like. While the contract is very much standard for every customer, your version will include the exact price you will pay as well as a list of what the tier you picked covers so it may be slightly different between two customers.
Your trust is extremely important to us and the contract is in place to make sure you know exactly where you stand and what the service conditions are. Should you have any questions or feedback, we are always open to suggestions, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
Not a problem at all, simply contact us and we will organise additional photographers. In a case like this, we will handle everything for you including the contracts, the photos and all logistics.
In most cases, our clients prefer so called "candid photos", which basically means "no posing", just natural and stealth photography - you don't even know when exactly the photo is taken. This of course does not mean that natural photographs can't have their own style. We will edit your photos to your preferred look.
The total number of weddings per year is normally limited to around 30 but this number can change in different circumstances. When we need a rest, we may do only 25 weddings. The big advantage we have is that there is two of us, this means that we share the load and sometimes can do two events on one day. This only happens if both clients decide on a single photographer each and when both events are fairly short. We have had years when we've done 40 + events but also years with just 15 events. There is no fixed rule but we do make sure we can fully focus on each event and give it enough time and effort.
If your event is longer than 4 hours it's basically guaranteed that we will be covering only your event. Only when we are able to split and cover one event each, we would cover more than one but this is only if both clients decide they only want one photographer each.
There is a very good chance that we have already worked at your venue, although saying that, we do travel a lot which means that we may have done some venues in a given location but not all. We will most certainly visit your venue beforehand and if the distance is too great, we will make sure to be there well in advance to have time to scout everything out.
This very much depends on the distance we have to travel. If the wedding is in a different country, then we will have to factor in the total price a hotel room and a flight but if the event is within a reasonable drivable distance, there is no additional cost. We do not have a flat rate for travel expenses because we are not looking to earn anything on travel or hotels. We want to make sure you know exactly how much we spent on travel and so we will only charge as much as we pay. Costs like this are normally discussed and agreed upon well before the event so you know exactly what to expect.
Short answer "YES", long answer "YEEEEEEEEEES" ๐ We have covered almost anything from a small 2 people private parties to massive festivals.
There are a few measures we take to make sure your photos are safe both during the shoot as well as after. The simplest thing to do is to use multiple cards as it is unlikely that all will fail at the same time. The main line of defence though is an immediate backup onto multiple locations. If there is enough time during longer events, we dour best to make a backup copy of everything on a massive portable drive we have with us on every shoot. When we return to the office though is where the main backing up begins. As soon as we walk in, we make a copy of all cards onto an external drive as well as on an internal one. once these are fully copied, we copy everything onto our secure cloud server. At this point there should be 3 to 4 copies of all your photos plus the originals!
We will keep a copy of your photos on our backup server for 6 months from the wedding.
We have been in photography for about 10 years now and it's an average of 30 events per year.

Not a problem at all. As long as we know in advance, we can bring longer lenses which allow for photography from a greater distance. We also often shoot with a completely silent camera shutter. These two measures let us make sure that you don't even know when the photo is taken, but also that we are not in your face with the camera. We will also do our best to make you feel comfortable so you can relax and stop thinking about posing to photos.
The absolute best conditions for photography of any kind except for astrophotography, is a fully overcast day. If there is no sharp, strong sunlight, the shadows are soft and the lighting is equal, especially on your faces which allows for much higher level of postproduction/correction should you wish to have any. Strong noon sun makes it so everyone squints and you either stand in too strong sun or too dark shadow.
While both Wioletta and I have old private Instagram profiles, we don't use them for our Wedding Photography because we do not agree with the way META (company which owns Instagram) deals with small businesses like ourselves. These days, in order to have any kind of following there we would have to pay to find new people, then pay more to grow in the future and once we have followers, we have to pay to allow them to actually see our photos which is very exploitive in our opinion and we refuse to take part in this money wasting machine ๐ We will be opening an account on an app called Vero which is a much better, simpler and cleaner competitor for Instagram.
As early as you can because unfortunately the dates are getting booked extremely fast but last minute bookings are also welcome.
Additionally to the normal photos I also offer photography on vintage equipment which adds an extremely unique look to your photos.
I am very proud of my camera collection which currently contains over 50 cameras and well over 60 lenses which you can find out more about from the mini-documentary filmed about me (https://youtu.be/3O7IIlBwrm0). On daily basis we both use high end Nikon cameras and the newest S line lenses.
We do our best to fit in 30 days but we ask for 90 days to be sure we have enough time to finalise everything.
Most, not all. We make sure to weed out the photos that make no sense, are duplicates or completely unusable. While you receive the vast majority of photos, not all are sent.
Yep, there is a number of photographers we can contact to cover for us. We will do our best to provide a professional, checked and trusted replacement in case we are sick or otherwise unavailable.

Your photos will be provided not later than within 3 months from the wedding date but most likely sooner because we don't want you to wait too long. Every photograph is colour graded and corrected in post production which takes time.
